benmonroe.ai is a personal portfolio run by Benjamin Monroe, an individual based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Questions or requests about your information go to ben@benmonroe.ai.

• Contact form (Connect page). Your name, email, subject, and message. It is delivered to my inbox through Formspree so I can reply.
• Quote form. Your name, email, business name, project details, budget range, deadline, reference links, notes, and any files you upload. These are stored in a Convex database and file storage, and a copy is emailed to me through Resend so I can review the project and respond.
• Spam protection. When you upload files, remove them, or submit the form, a hash of your email address is used as a key in a short-lived Upstash Redis counter that limits repeat requests. The counter expires after 15 minutes.
• Analytics, only if you accept. Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, referring site, approximate location (derived from your IP address), and device and browser type. It sets cookies whose names start with _ga. It does not load until you choose "Accept analytics".
• Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
• Server logs. The web host keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, requested page, time) for security and troubleshooting.
• Your cookie choice. Stored in your browser's local storage under bm-cookie-consent so the banner does not reappear on every page.

I do not sell or rent your information, run advertising, or share it with anyone other than the service providers named above, which process it only to deliver their service. I may disclose information if the law requires it.

The only optional cookies are Google Analytics cookies. Decline, and analytics never loads. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer; withdrawing consent stops analytics and clears its cookies. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.

Form submissions and uploaded files are kept as long as they are needed to respond to you and keep a record of the conversation, and are deleted when you ask. Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in Google Analytics. Rate-limit counters expire after 15 minutes.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you have sent me, or ask me to stop using it, by emailing ben@benmonroe.ai. I will respond within 30 days, wherever you live. Depending on your state or country you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR; I will honor them.

The site is served only over HTTPS with a strict Content Security Policy, and access to stored submissions is limited to me. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please do not upload anything you cannot afford to have exposed, such as passwords or payment details.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.

If this policy changes, the effective date above will change with it. Use of the site is also covered by the terms of use.
