The details
Agreement
These terms cover your use of benmonroe.ai, a personal portfolio run by Benjamin Monroe of St. Louis, Missouri ("I", "me"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Content and ownership
Text, design, code, music, and images on this site belong to me unless noted otherwise. Project screenshots and names belong to their respective owners and appear here as portfolio examples. You may link to and share pages; you may not copy, republish, or sell the content without written permission.
Information, not professional advice
Security, networking, and technical material on this site is general information. It is not professional advice for your environment, and reading it does not create a client or consulting relationship.
Quotes and project inquiries
Sending a message or quote request is an inquiry, not a contract. Any estimate I reply with is non-binding. Paid work starts only under a separate written agreement that sets scope, price, and terms. You confirm that you have the right to share any files or information you send.
Acceptable use
When using the site, do not:
- send spam, automated submissions, or content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringing;
- upload malware or files meant to harm me or my systems;
- probe, scan, or test the site's security, or try to bypass its rate limits or protections, without my written permission (report a vulnerability to ben@benmonroe.ai instead);
- interfere with the site's operation or other visitors' use of it.
Third-party links and services
The site links to other websites and relies on third-party services described in the privacy policy. I do not control them and am not responsible for their content or practices.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in St. Louis, Missouri.
Changes and contact
I may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. Questions go to ben@benmonroe.ai.
